Strange, i have the same sound card and none problem


Compiled from port, i just add oss_enable="YES" to /etc/rc.conf and everything (almost) runs right

vmix still crash my box and I edited installed_drivers file to switch vmix to softoss

same as 1001

I crash with vmix but softoss works fine.

with vmix, testing with xmms, i crash in some seconds.

Softoss runs fine for a full day now.

I have replugged the soundcard into a different slot and done a new fresh world and kernel. For a while, I ran the rc2 without problems. Then I have reinstalled the last release and ran xmms on a vmixer channel, the system has crashed. Same test with mplayer on a vmixer channel, the system crashs. I...

I installed the last release again, i'm trying to reproduce the problem but it's not yet done. I ran successfully the rc2 without the need of replug my soundcard, but with the last release, i crashed 3 times. I'm investigating on this problem, trying to know if this is my system or not, Best Regards...

I just found the rc2 in the test folder, i'm not sure but i believe than that was this one when i ran.
