Open Broadcaster Software (Studio) and OSS
Please forgive me for making another thread about OSS and X program not working, but this one really seems like it SHOULD work. OBS studio (https://github.com/jp9000/obs-studio) seems to be a complex front-end to ffmpeg, which obviously supports OSS. And OBS even lets you do things like "media source" which seems to behavior exactly like ffmpeg parameters. It has "input" and "input format" fields which I enter "/dev/dsp" and "oss", but even when entering these, I still record audio-less videos. The only workarounds I can think of is to simply use ffmpeg from command line, script, or record oss devices with something like audacity or ossrecord at the same time of recording a video. Another option is if someone were to write a plugin for OSS with OBS, but I doubt anyone wants to take up that task. If anyone has any idea on how to get OBS working with OSS, please let me know.
