How do I route audio to/from jack audio server

I have oss4 working well with Jackd2 in Ubuntu Studios 13.04 when I start the server.
I would like to know how to direct applications such as Oracle's VirtualBox (or any other application that does not have a jack plugin/driver) to output its
audio through jack server. I looked at this url link below on jacks webpage but it does not show setup for oss4 but only alsa
