Open Sound System

I got 6.0-RELEASE FreeBSD and trying to install oss3993c-freebsd-x86-v6.0-RELEASE.tar.gz on it.

I got strange problem

# sh ./oss-install
./oss-install: 1: Syntax error: "(" unexpected

What can it be... may be it is because of my kernel configuration... or some permisions set in devfs.conf?

oss-install is not a shell script, it is an executable binary.

Run it like this:

# ./oss-install

FreeBSD 6.0-RELEASE installation problem
