Changing default input source?

Postby zhurai » Fri Sep 10, 2010 2:14 am

how do I set it so my pcmin1 is the default, rather than my pcmin0?

I want my headset mic to be the default....not my built in mic...

Set "vmix_no_autoattach=1" in /usr/lib/oss/conf/osscore.conf and then add a "vmixctl attach /dev/dsp /dev/oss/.../pcmin1" command (you can put it in /usr/lib/oss/soundon.user or something like /etc/rc.local, so it runs automatically). vmix will now route to pcmin1 which will be the default.
