DeadBeef can play 44kHz, because you installed Pertrov's plugin with DCT reasampler.

What is EAC? A sort of script?

Let's use DB for deedbeef and EAC for exact-audio-player. You can define abbreviations is a separate topic. It should have been EAP. My mistake.
