Can you explain why deudbeef (DB for short) can play 44100 input and EAC cannot? Both use Petrov's resamplers...

DeadBeef can play 44kHz, because you installed Pertrov's plugin with DCT reasampler.

What is EAC? A sort of script?

Let's use DB for deedbeef and EAC for exact-audio-player. You can define abbreviations is a separate topic. It should have been EAP. My mistake.
