Overview
The oss2jack tool allows OSS based applications to use the jackd sound server daemon.
Advantages
This provides an advantage of being able to start several OSS based applications at the same time. By giving jackd some additional configuration options, both oss2jack and jackd can also make use of the .asoundrc mixer and plugin settings.
