Re: midi oss4
But is there any point in compiling it? I mean will it actually work with Jack or ZynAddSubFX from a midi keyboard? Does it support all CCs, NPRNS, sysex, etc? I have a Novation ReMote midi keyboard, which worked fine with ALSA under Ubuntu (Studio) until the latest upgrade dropped support for my soundcard forcing me to switch to OSS.
I just can't believe there's no proper MIDI support in software you actually have to pay for. Obviously, I was stupid enough to assume that any self-respecting "sound system" would support MIDI and so didn't check before paying money to 4front.
