FreeBSD purchase advice

Hello people, I am in need of some advice.

Which soundcard should I buy, I want to be able to use ac3 passthrough to use my dts/dolby digital receiver in combination with my computer. The most readily available sound cards in my vicinity are creative cards, the audigy se is very cheap but I don't know if it is compatible with FreeBSD.

So some advice would be very welcome,

I have an Audigy2 ZS and it works flawlessly--even with FreeBSD's own sound support (emu10k1).
